The interior project is a 12,000 sqft wine tasting by invitation only showroom. The brief calls for display for 10,000 bottles of wine.
Instead of conventional horizontal racks, we design circular wine racks reminiscing the wine barrel. Each of the 5 circular wine racks holds up to 2,000 bottles of wine.
The circular wine racks create a space within a space when one steps into it.
The concept of circular is consistence throughout, even to the reception counters, sofa seats and glass conference room.
The project won an Honourable Mention at SIA Award (Interior Architecture- Commercial Category) in 2011.
