Home @ Hong San was conceived to co-locate the Children and Youth Complex as well as the sheltered home for the aged in one place. The development consists of 4 storey building with basement carparks and fully maximised the space and resources available through the co-location. Special attention was given to design for the needs of different users of varying age group and physical abilities. The project also explored the effective design of a barrier-free environment for all users and was conferred the BCA Universal Design Award.
