The site was a single plot of 700sqm land with an old single storey bungalow on it. It is sub-divided into 2 plots for erection of a pair of 2.5 storey semi-detached houses with basements, each with a land area of 350sqm and built-up area of 400sqm.
The endeavor is to create a pair of houses that look different but complement each other.
Huge granite wall features are created with complimenting vertical element for one and horizontal element for the other. Glass is used extensively so the granite wall features look uninterrupted and suspended.
Roof forms of the houses are such that they are slanting in different but complementing directions.
A simple straight car porch roof links the 2 houses together.
