Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home is a 7-storey building situated at Hougang Avenue 8, it serves 285 residents including residents living with dementia. The Nursing Home seeks to improve the quality of life for ageing Singaporeans. Elder-friendly infrastructure, landscape gardens, rehabilitative gym, wheelchair-friendly facilities; and regular engagement programmes with various schools ensure that the residents remain active as well as provide an opportunity for students involved to learn about effective planning and enhance their social interaction skills.
